This sadly does not surprise me, and is one of the reasons (apart from not being able to get more than one song in for sure) that I don't always like to go to Hula Hula.

Agree. Hula is actually probably my favorite karaoke bar in Seattle based on sound, stage, setup, people that hang out there. The waitress that always serves us is amazing. But their fucked up rotation rules and the insane length of rotation there on the weekends kind of kills it. Also, their selection kind of sucks.
