On Wednesdays, The Parlor features “Rockaraoke”, which is a live band setup wherein you front a group of very solid musicians. It's pretty awesome. You really do feel like a rock star up there. The selection is not as extensive as you'd find at a typical karaoke bar, given that the band actually has to learn all these songs, but I was very impressed by it, nonetheless. There's a lot of songs, and they cover a lot of genres. I was able to get some hip-hop and country in, so it's not all rock songs, like you might expect. Overall, it's a great time. i only wish it wasn't Wednesday nights, because that's also when Kate's Pub has my favorite karaoke night in Seattle.
