Boxcar is, in a word, terrific. It's a down-home neighborhood bar in not-the-coolest of areas, but they've got a great stage and a really great KJ, name of Easton. Some of the best karaoke in town, good bartenders, decent food, and reasonable prices put Boxcar near the very top of my Seattle karaoke list.

Saturday night is alright for fighting at the Boxcar. The have a real stage and a lot of mics. Be prepared to hear a gaggle of ladies try to pull off Bohemian Rhapsody with drinks in hand. And if you see a girl with pink hair…well, she's awesome.
